Galileo Galilei Lodge #2253

Welcome to the Galileo Galilei Lodge #2253, the Hicksville, NY chapter of the Order of the Sons of Italy in America. 

 

The principles of our order are Liberty, Equality and Fraternalism and although the first two principles of Liberty and Equality are very important, we are making the most of fraternalism as we enjoy many social events bringing us together as a family and at the same time raising money for our scholarship and charitable endeavors.

 

Our lodge has a great mix of younger and senior members. The younger members bring creativity, new ideas, energy and enthusiasm to the lodge integrating with the wisdom, experience and guidance of the senior members. This results in the dynamics of a lodge that not only enjoys collegiality and respect for each other but has fun together as we raise money for our charitable endeavors and interaction with the community. Our members together with the contributions of the officers on the council will fulfill the mission of our lodge.

 

General meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the William Bennett Community Center in Hicksville.
